ABOUT
US
The
Asian-Pacific Society of Nuclear Cardiology (APSNC)
is a network of nuclear medicine physicians, cardiologists, other
physicians, scientists and paramedical professionals of the Asia-Pacific
Region, whose collective mission is to promote the development
of nuclear cardiology in the Asia Pacific Region.

The goals of the
Society are:
- To promote the development of the
nuclear cardiology throughout the Asia-Pacific Region as an appropriate
and useful diagnostic tool in the evaluation and management of cardiovascular
disease;
- To increase awareness and understanding
of the role that nuclear cardiology can play in the management of
heart disease both amongst doctors and the public in the Region;
- To strive to improve the quality of
nuclear cardiology practice in the Region;
- To support the training and teaching
of nuclear cardiology in the Region;
- To support nuclear cardiology research
in the Region;
- To foster co-operation and fellowship
between the nuclear cardiology communities in the Region.

the Society at the time of the effectuation of the Constitution
Australia, Bangladesh,
China, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Pakistan, Philippines,
Singapore, Thailand, (listed by alphabetical order).
Countries or societies
that may be considered for membership include: Hawaii, Hongkong (China),
Iran, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Taipei (China), Trinidad.
